About Us
The Cadenzza is an indie band who was born in Yogyakarta on December 9, 2007. The Cadenzza has a sense of energy from the personnel to embrace and realize the ideas, thoughts and feelings that are abstract to become a reality that they pour in their musical creativity. Taken from the name of a guitar chord movement, The Cadenzza hopes that their work will not only be stagnant, but there must be movement and change in their musical career. Honesty of expression and creativity from the heart, and the ability to process the idealism that they have, lulled this band to continue experimenting and exploiting beautiful harmony contained in their songs. Call some of their song titles like I Want You (to leave me alone), Lentera Hati, Bisakah Kau Mencintaiku Lagi, Walking in the Rain, Aku Karmamu, Not Forsaken, and About Love. The songs are different from each other, but if we listen to them again and again we will feel the red thread. The songs of The Cadenzza are like a rainbow of dazzling colors. Every song has a sense of honest hope, love or heartache that have been there, inside all of us. Mixture of different kinds of music, such as Pop, Rock, and Solo are made as creative as possible to make this band an oasis in the desert because of the existence of the music market in Indonesia is currently filled with Melayu genre or we can call it the genre of “Indonesian Music Industry”, for now (we can only hope). This band is certainly a promising alternative favored by indie music lovers wherever they are located. Additional ingredient or concoction in their music is Digital or Techno sound. The uniqueness of each track is expected to represent the feelings of everyone who listens. Therefore, please enjoy and listen deeply and truly to the songs we bring towards you.
